Strawberry Dart Frog salt and pepper set SKU: T25 MODEL: Only about 1" long, these gorgeous little amphibeans are strawberry red with blue or black legs. The Strawberry Dart Frog calls Central America and Puerto Rico lowland forests its home. Males and females work together to take care of eggs, once hatched, the female will carry each tadpole on her back to a safe pool of water, usually the base of a bromeliad plant, where each baby tadpole is deposited in its own pool of water. She checks back daily, feeding each baby tadpole unfertilized eggs while it grows and develops into a tiny frog.
